Talcott Mountain State Park
Talcott Mountain is where we took our engagement photos. It's an easy hike with a beautiful view of the town of Simsbury. October is going to be the best time for the hike as you'll get to see all the leaves changing color. Make sure to pack snacks and water for when you reach the top! Trail is 2.5 miles, about 80 minutes total hiking time for a round trip hike
Center Square
West Hartford Center is the perfect place to spend the afternoon! Great dining and shopping options. Some of our favorites include Bar Taco, Milkcraft, Flora, Treva, Avert, and Savoy.
Tree House Brewing Company
If you're willing to make the drive, Treehouse is a local favorite here. Many travel and buy in bulk. I would suggest ordering ahead as the lines are usually long.
Connecticut Wine Trail
Click 'View' to visit the website! There are so many great wineries in CT, many local to Granby/Simsbury. You can definitely make it to multiple in one day. There are usually food trucks and music. Let's see how many wineries you can try during your visit to CT!
The Brewery at Maple View Farm
Great beer on a farm, plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the horses. They also have a small farm store!
