Wedding Party

Alicia Schweitzer

Matron of Honor

Lish and I met freshman year of college. We just happened to live in the same dorm, and have all the same classes. It didn’t take long before we were meeting before class for breakfast, studying long hours together, and driving south together for weekends, carpooling and jamming out to a list of “our songs” that got longer with every trip. Very quickly I realized Lish was going to be a lifelong friend. Sophomore year she became my roommate and one of my best friends. She’s someone Geoff and I can always count on, and our friendship has only grown these last 10 years. After 2 years of living with me and my folks, she’s family- aptly nicknamed “the favorite daughter,” by my brother Ryan and I. Fun facts: -She took on the task of teaching me to enjoy spicy foods- and succeeded. -

Megan Toomey

Maid of Honor

Megan and I have been friends since 3rd grade. Most of my best memories growing up- biking to drum lessons, Laughing endlessly in Spanish class or at commercials (don’t ask), rock band sessions with mom, and driving just to drive in our matching cars- have been with Megan. She became more than a friend, she became a sister. She’s someone I am comfortable enough to fight with, like my mom- because I know they understand me and that all will be forgiven (once I’ve had something to eat, ha!). We have traveled together, lived together and shared so much together. I don’t know where I’d be without her! Fun fact: -Megan loves Christmas- she’d celebrate all year if we let her, and she’s the best gift giver all year round.

Danielle McBride

Bridesmaid

Dani is my oldest friend (as in I’ve known her the longest, she is actually younger than me 😊). We grew up going to daycare together and having her there made “little people’s lock up” not only bearable, she made it fun! Since then, we haven’t been in the same school or lived together, and now she lives states away, but we’ve always found a way to stay close. She’s a terrific friend, we always have a blast together, and I am so excited she’s standing up with me! Fun fact: - Dani was the first person to get me to drink beer- we were 12 and it was coors cutter (non alcoholic) during an epic battle playing karaoke with her mom and step dad. She’s always been cooler than me 😎

Kyra Stark

Bridesmaid

Kyra is Lish’s younger sister- as Lish and I became closer and spent more time together, Kyra became a sister to me too. For most of our friendship, Kyra has lived far away- in Nebraska, in Iowa, in Estes Park and more recently in Guatemala. Despite the distance, we have stayed close through trips to see each other, through constant snapchats, and through Lish and the Stark family. Kyra, before leaving for Guatemala, lived with Geoff and I. The three of us made meals together, spent lots of time on the front porch together, had wine and margaritas, and became even closer- that’s when I knew Kyra needed to be up there with us on our big day. Fun facts: Kyra apologizes.. a lot!

Ryan McOmber

Bridesman

Ryan and I fought a lot as a kid.. wrestling, biting, and arguing. Luckily for me, we grew out of that :) My brother is one of my best friends. I always look forward to our lunch dates and there’s no one I’d want next to me more then him when playing trivia. Love you bro! Fun facts: He’s great at accents, we used to switch between 4-5 of them when we talked to each other on the phone (lots of strange looks if we weren’t alone)

Darren Gillmore

Best Man

Darren has been one of my best friends since middle school. Through high school, college at CU and then college apart- we’ve stayed close. The parties we used to throw in his basement- him drinking all my mom’s wine, and playing the “pick a card” game- were some of my favorite memories. Now-spending time with him, Jordan and my godsons-Molly is convinced that he’s my one true love.

Shane Adler

Best Man

I have known Shane the longest- we have been best friends since elementary school. He stayed over enough, my mom made him part of the family- and made him go to church with us every Sunday he was over. I’ve got great memories of playing around the world on his family’s farm, and he is basically who taught me to drive between their four wheeler and farm equipment.

Michael Macias

Groomsman

I met Michael on Craigslist.. I was looking for a place to stay and some new roommates- it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From our party’s we used to throw in our garage with the CU branded beer-pong-table, to cigars in the backyard in the snow- Michael always makes fun times more fun. He’s also 1/2 of the couple that introduced me and Molly. Molly and I will always love him for that!

Ross Witcher

Groomsman

Ross and I started our friendship by working together, and meeting each morning to get smoothies before work. We’ve had a great time camping, celebrating forth of July’s on the lake, tailgating, and wood shopping in his garage.

Jon Babovec

Groomsman

What to say about my brother.. I have known him my whole life. We grew up fighting like all brothers do- and then a little extra. He’s sent me to the hospital, and I tried to roll over him with a go-cart. Injuries aside- we have had good memories. He’s the reason I became an engineer, and the reason I’ve recently gotten more into whiskey drinking. He made for a good roommate when we were both getting started- and he’s great to have along when trying new breweries.
