The Wedding Website of Molly Murtaugh and Emma Jones
Hood River is small and rooms book up FAST, so we recommend booking your lodging ASAP! Staying walking distance downtown Hood River will give you the chance to walk around the shops and restaurants and to enjoy some of the great views. Airbnbs and VRBOs are really great options, especially if you want to pair up with other wedding guests.

Hotel

Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

1 Nichols Parkway, Hood River, OR 97031

There are still a few rooms left! We do not have a room block, but if you call the hotel directly to book and ask for the "friends & family wedding discount" you should be able to receive 10%. We recommend booking quickly, as other hotels are already selling out!

Hotel

Hood River Hotel

102 Oak Street, Hood River, OR 97031

Right downtown, walking distance to many places. Their website might say no availability, but we recommend calling them directly to book rooms, as they sometimes still have availability.

Hotel

The Society Hotel Hood River - Bingen

210 Cedar Street, Bingen, WA 98605

Beautiful boutique hotel with spa & soaking pools -- perfect for those who want to relax! You'll want to have a rental car if you stay here, as it's located just across the bridge on the Washington side of the river.

Flight

Portland International Airport (PDX)

Hood River is about an hour outside of PDX, which is where we recommend flying into.

Rental Car

Car Rental

9475 Northeast Airport Way, Portland, OR 97220

Hood River is about an hour outside Portland -- the best way to get there is to rent a car, which you can pickup at the airport. You'll be able to find Hertz, Alamo, Enterprise, Thrifty, and other options. We recommend pairing up with others and renting in advance to ensure availability :) If you have time, we highly recommend stopping along your drive to see Multnomah Falls or to grab a bite/drink in Cascade Locks (Thunder Island Brewing or Brigham Fish Market are great options).

Train

Amtrak/Greyhound

AMTRAK For those not wanting to drive, Amtrak is another option! There is one train per day from "Portland Union Station" to "Bingen-White Salmon, WA" and you'll need to take an Uber/Lyft (or the MAX) from PDX Airport to Union Station, so be sure to leave enough time to get to the station after landing. The Amtrak station you'll get off at is right across the river (on the Washington side) from Hood River. Note: there are very few Uber/Lyft options in the area, so you'll want to arrange transportation with your hotel or a local taxi company in advance to get from the train station to your lodging. GREYHOUND Similar to Amtrak, Greyhound runs one bus per day from downtown Portland to Hood River. As with Amtrak, you'll want to be sure to leave enough time to get to Portland Union Station from the airport. The Greyhound drops off right in downtown Hood River.
