[OPTIONAL] Polar Plunge in the Columbia

The forecast is looking HOT, so we thought it would be fun to start off the weekend with a dip in the Columbia River! If you are feeling up for it, come join us for a swim at Hood River Waterfront park. We will plan to grab coffee afterwards at stoked: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bxTzJkQUsJguwctq7.

Casual Attire: It will likely be warm and this event will be outdoors. Sundresses, skirts, jumpsuits -- whatever makes you feel good!
There will be a few lite bites in addition to drinks, but please check out the "things to do" if you'd like ideas for places to eat dinner before welcome drinks. We cannot wait to kick off the weekend with you! If you brought a book for the book exchange/little library, remember to bring it to this event!

Ceremony & Reception

Cocktail Attire: Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets and slacks. We will be on grass, so consider your footwear. Sun protection also highly encouraged!
Shuttles will depart from Hood River City Hall (211 2nd St., across the street from Horsefeathers Hotel) at 2:30pm SHARP to arrive at the venue by 3pm. Please arrive to the shuttle stop 5-10 minutes early to make sure you make the shuttle! The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm. After a night of pizza, dancing and drinks (~8:30pm), shuttles will bring guests back Hood River City Hall, which is three blocks from the after party location (Oak St. Pub, 403 Oak St).

Bluegrass & Bagels

Come hang out with us for a super casual brunch in the backyard of our hotel before you head out of town! We will have bagels, bluegrass and leftover beer/wine from the wedding! If you still have a book you want to exchange/donate to our little library, bring it by and grab another one for the road!
