Wedding Party

Jade Cooper

Maid of Honor

I met Jade in the Spring of 2015 when I was visiting Belmont with a friend from high school who was a Freshman there during an SGA meeting that I sat in on. We were rekindled when I went through sorority recruitment in the Fall of 2015, which is where I then met her Big. After that world wind of a weekend I decided to join Phi Mu fraternity. Jade and her Phi Mu family kidnapped me that day to ensure I rode with them to our bid day party. From the second I met her in the Spring of 2015 I thought she was too cool to be my friend, and she still chose me to be her little. It has been an overwhelming, exciting, and eventful year for the both of us. During this past year of living together we have started new careers and are simultaneously planning our weddings. Jade is a lifelong friend!

Austin Ellis

Best Man

What started as a blind date lead to Cameron and Austin’s friendship. The two of them attended Tennessee Tech together. Cameron has Austin to thank for inviting him to a recruitment event with Phi Delta Theta, the fraternity he later joined. They briefly served on the executive board of Phi Delta Theta together before Cameron transferred to MTSU to obtain an internship. The distance hasn’t affected their friendship and to this day they continue to be great friends that can pick up right where they left off!

Paige Cooper

Bridesmaid

Paige is Cameron’s older sister and the mother to our adorable nephews and niece. When I first met Paige at Cameron’s high school graduation I could see that she was protective of Cameron, but greeted me with the warmest smile and hug. She has welcomed us into their home numerous times while they lived in Italy. We are thrilled to have them closer to home and share this day with us. I am most excited to gain another sister and officially be an aunt to my nephews and niece!

Jesse Cooper

Groomsman

Jesse is Cameron’s brother-in-law and the father of our nephews and niece. Jesse has been apart of Cameron life every since he was 9 when he started dating his sister Paige. One thing that Cameron remembers the most is the first Christmas Jesse was dating Paige he brought Cameron a huge box of his favorite yu-gi-oh cards. That kindness didn’t stop it carried over into sharing his favorite video games when Cameron was younger to providing wisdom about life as Cameron grew older. They share an interest in computers, technology, and scuba diving. Jesse will have the groomsmen laughing the entire day. Cameron and Jesse have shared many adventures together over the years.

Jill McDowell

Bridesmaid

I met Jill on the first day of class our Freshman year at Belmont. That Wednesday my first class of the day was Biology and Jill ran into class just before we were starting. She asked to sit at my table as it was the first available seat. Since that day she has become one of my best friends. We have shared so many memories over the years, but our sophomore year living in the basement on Blair when it flooded was one we can finally look back and laugh about. I’m overjoyed to have Jill stand beside me!

Mo Rabiei

Groomsman

Mo and Cameron have been friends and roommates for over three years. They attended MTSU together and were both apart of Phi Delta Theta. Through their years at MTSU they’ve enjoyed tailgates, homecomings, parties and countless fraternity outings. Mo is a wonderful friend who we know we can always count on.

Katie West

Bridesmaid

I met Katie during her orientation week at Belmont. She is an absolute gem that can light up any room. She joined Phi Mu her freshman year. While she may not officially be in our family tree I have always considered her another one of my littles and a true friend. Katie and I never miss a beat when we spend time with one another, and I can’t wait to share this memory with her.

Garrett Stephenson

Groomsman

Garrett and Cameron attended MTSU together. When Cameron first transferred to MTSU Garrett was one of the first guys to welcome him to the fraternity and campus. Garrett was their for Cameron when he needed it. Garrett, mo and Cameron lived in a house for a year together. Cameron could always count on Garrett to be the first one home to welcome him as he perfected his skills in rocket league. Cameron is thankful that Phi Delta Theta gave him this friendship.

Claire Coleman

Bridesmaid

Claire and I met through Phi Mu during her freshman year. She was searching for a big and I was looking for my little. I had been tirelessly meeting countless freshman and made a massive meeting at the campus Starbucks and that’s when I knew she had to be my little. She is the sassier of my twin littles. I can’t wait to have her stand with me.

Mat Illges

Groomsman

Mat and Cameron have been close friends since the fourth grade. When Cameron and Mat were younger they were actually apart of the same RA camp out when Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and Springfield Baptist Church partnered up for a father son camping trip which they didn’t discover until later in their friendship. They became closer friends when they both lived in the same neighborhood. Their friendship carried through high school. In which they both were apart of Mt. Carmel youth group and played four years of varsity Tennis. As high school came to a close they toured colleges together. They choose to attend Tennessee Tech, and lived together their freshman year. Mat will always be one of Cameron life long friends he can count on.

Colleen Greaves

Bridesmaid

Colleen was in my orientation group her freshman year Belmont. During that week I could tell she was special. That semester she went through sorority recruitment and decided to join Phi Mu. She then became my little. Colleen is the more reserved of my twins. Colleen is one of the most dependable people that I know. I’m excited to have her stand with me.

Alex Kahn

Groomsman

Alex and Cameron have truly been friends since birth.Alex and Cameron first became friends when their parents met in Quail Ridge. Once Alex moved from Quail Ridge their friendship didn’t stop. Cameron remembers times at Alex house on Bethlehem road aka “The Cabin” where they built VHS forts, explored the woods, rode four wheelers and imagined up all sorts of adventures. After “the cabin” they moved into Valleydale together. Then to Guthrie Road where they spent countless nights playing pool volleyball with friends. They also played football at East Robertson High School. Alex and Cameron went to Tennessee Tech before Cameron Transferred to MTSU. Some friendships truly last a lifetime and Cameron knows when he gets together with Alex that they can always pick up right where they left off.

Ava and Clara Kahn

Ava and Clara are the sweetest and cutest sisters you will meet. Ava will be five, nearly six, and Clara will be two at our wedding. They are family friends of the Martin’s. We can’t wait to watch Ava and Clara twirl down the isle and dance the night away at the reception!
