Pizzeria La Rocca
The pizza at this location is incredible. The crust is the stuff of dreams. If you're looking for a fun night out in Greenwood, go here and then walk to Coindexter's (barcade, info further down). This place also does delivery.
Flying Squirrel Pizza Co.
This pizza joint used to have a second location around the corner from us. Great place for a pizza and a locally sourced beer. Plus we recommend the spinach and artichoke dip!

The Pink Door
This spot usually needs a reservation in advance, but if you’re adventuring near Pike Place, this is the place to go for a nice dinner. A nondescript entrance, live performances, delicious food, and amazing views.
Portage Bay Cafe on 65th
This is our go-to brunch spot. There are many locations, but this is ours. So good! Make sure you don't mix up the 65th St location with the Roosevelt location.
Kona Kitchen
Looking for some tasty Hawaiian food? This is the spot! Plus they serve breakfast all day. If you’re swinging by our place, this is around the corner from us.
The Nest Rooftop Bar
Drinks? Mind-blowingly good. Views of Pike Place? Also mind-blowingly good. Prices? Not super cheap. But if you want a place to go for a drink or two while catching up with friends, this is the place!
Coindexter's
This is a fun barcade! We usually go to Pizzeria La Rocca before coming here.
Big Mario's Pizza
We stumbled upon this Seattle favorite one night and loved it! Huge slices of pizza and a dive bar feel. Great for late nights.
University of Washington
UW has a gorgeous campus and a fun football team. When we go see a game, we mostly root for the mascot (a malamute named Dubs).
Woodland Park Zoo

Our go-to fall pumpkin patch experience. It’s dog-friendly, too!

Another classic. Be prepared for a fishy smell. Skip the gum wall. If you buy flowers (they're GORGEOUS), don't lay them on their side (water will spill out).
