Flight

London Heathrow Airport

We recommend flying into London Heathrow Airport. To travel from London to Oxford, we recommend the Oxford Bus Company. These clean and comfortable charter buses run near hourly to Oxford directly from LHR or from various locations in London. Note that Monday, August 25th is a bank holiday, so bus schedules may run differently. Plan in advance.

Travel Note

Car Rentals

If you choose to rent a car, there are several companies to choose from, including Enterprise and Hertz. We recommend booking at least one month in advance. Some guests are planning to rent a car in London, whereas some guests are planning to take the bus into Oxford and then rent a car. Uber and taxis are also available in Oxford.

Hotel

Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House Hotel

Church Way, Iffley, England OX4 4DZ, United Kingdom

Our venue doubles as our preferred accommodation. We have a room block set up, and a special rate for anyone in our party (£120 including breakfast each day). Please RSVP with us by July 1st so we may fill out the room block. We will let the hotel know our final head and room count by July 1st.

Travel Note

Getting around Oxford

Our venue is a 10 minute drive to the heart of Oxford. Uber and Taxis are available 24/7. Oxford is very walkable, with lots of things to see and do.

Train

Travel Outside of Oxford

The Oxford train station is great for getting to other areas of the country. Many of our guests have told us they are headed to Edinburgh after the wedding. If you're going by train, we suggest booking an early morning time for cheaper tickets. We suggest booking train tickets in advance.
