Michelle and I met at Carter Hall during our freshman year at The University of Toledo (in the community showers of all places). We quickly realized we had a lot in common including our love of the grinch, drop dead Fred, wine, and the worst scary movies we could find. We decided to become roommates for our sophomore year and I got her the job at THE Outback Steakhouse and the rest is history. We’ve been through so much over the years including working at outback, surviving grad school and living in different cities, but nothing has really changed. She’s always there for a late night vent session and gives the best advice. I’m very lucky to call her my best friend as well as my matron of honor.
