FAQs

You've got questions, we've got answers.
Question

What is the COVID protocol?

Answer

After the last couple years we've had, being able to celebrate together means even more to us than we could've previously imagined. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe, so we are requesting that all our guests please provide confirmation of vaccination or negative COVID test results 48 hours prior to the big day. Another thing to note is that the ceremony and reception will be 100% outdoors and dancing will be in the barn - all very well ventilated areas - so hopefully this contributes to a feeling of safety. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns surrounding this sensitive subject.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We’re sorry you won’t be able to join! Please let us know via RSVP on this page as soon as you can so we can have an accurate headcount for our vendors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Above all else, we want you to be comfortable! However, we also want you to look your best! Dress code is semi-formal/dressy-casual. Much of the day will take place on grass, so please keep this in mind when picking out your shoes. The weather should be lovely this time of year, but since we will be outdoors, it wouldn’t hurt to bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down! We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests, only the people listed with your name under the RSVP section of this website.

Question

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Due to the remote location of the venue, we were unable to secure a shuttle service (we tried!). This also means Lyfts/Ubers will not be a reliable option. Gover Ranch is about a 20 minute drive from the Gaia Hotel where we have our room block. There is plenty of parking on-site. We encourage carpooling and would be happy to let you know who you might be able to ride with if you need any assistance in this area.

Question

Is it okay to take photos with our phones/cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and silenced during the ceremony. This way everyone can be fully present to share this moment with us, and no one’s view will be obstructed by any screens. Plus, we’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture the most important moments. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you want!
