The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire
Cocktail style receptions have no formal assigned seating. Guests can mingle, eat and drink at their own pace. We will have a mix of dining tables, bistro tables, high tops, etc for guests to hang out and enjoy the reception. We will have a variety of passed apps during both cocktail hour and the reception. We will also have two 'build your own' food stations during the reception as well as a late night snack & dessert!
Please plan on arrive between 5:30pm-5:45pm to ensure you have enough time to find a seat before the ceremony begins.
Both our ceremony and reception will be taking place in the Lumber Exchange building.
Midtown Parking Garage Downtown Autopark (if you are staying at the AC Marriott you do not need to drive to the Lumber Exchange as it is connected via the skyway so no need to even go outside to get from your room to our venue!)
Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Nearby hotels include AC Marriott, Embassy Suites, and the Rand Tower. We have reserved a block of rooms at the AC Marriott. See the 'travel' section of our wedding website for more information
We are registered at Crate and Barrel and Amazon
Proceed to the second floor of the AC Marriott, take a left out of the elevator and continue to the end of the hallway. You will exit the AC Marriott and enter a short hallway within The Midtown Parking Garage. Take a left and proceed to the entrance to the Lumber Exchange building.
I am realizing that non-native Minnesotans probably don't know what a skyway is! Downtown Minneapolis has a system of elevated, covered walkways that connect many of the buildings downtown. The skyway allows you to walk from building to building without having to worry about street traffic or the weather.
