The zoo is free and is surrounded by a beautiful park with plenty of walking paths and great views of the downtown skyline. On Saturday mornings there's also an awesome Farmer's Market in the park.
This is our go-to activity when we have out-of-town guests. A great way to see the city and they also serve drinks :)

If you're into Art, this museum is a must! Fun fact - the Art Institute of Chicago is the 10th-largest art museum in the world by gallery space.
Second City is one of the best places to take in some of Chicago's renowned comedy acts and has a long history of sending people on to SNL. Another popular club is Zanies, which is a great intimate comedy club.
Great place for a stroll and also has restaurants and bars to stop at.
This is a hot spot for tourists so we recommend going early in the day to go to the top of the tallest building in the city.

A hidden gem in Chicago, this is one of Molly & Josh's favorite cold weather meals. Make sure to get the anti pasta platter with the Mediterranean bread before digging into the pizza pot pie.
For those looking for a real Chicago pizza experience, this is the best deep dish in Chicago (in Molly's opinion). You cannot go wrong.
