Our love story is made all the more beautiful because it features so many people whom we love. We met through mutual friends (thanks, Andrew, Emily, and Calvin!) at a beach day in early 2021. We didn't talk much that first day, but after that, we started to hang out more in groups, until Wil asked Sarah on a date in May 2021. We had the best first date ever at Toes Beach in Playa Del Rey, followed by ice cream at Gingers. After that day, we became inseparable, even though we lived in separate parts of town. A big hats off to our roommates at the time (Nicole, Andrew, Calvin, and Raffy) for putting up with having an extra roommate for half the week. Over the next few years, we lived together in 2 apartments, adopted the adorable kitties Teddy and Casper, went on many trips, and generally went through life's ups and downs together, hand in hand. Fast forward to April 2025, and we traveled to Mendocino, California, a place that had been on our bucket list for a while. On the third day of our trip, we got a takeout picnic dinner, complete with a basket and a bottle of wine, reminiscent of our first date. Wil had scouted out a quiet spot on the cliffs, and after we were done eating, Wil popped the question. It was perfect and private. The rest is history! Thanks for being there along the way.
