There will be gondola ride discounts available for all wedding guests. We highly recommend it! The ride is beautiful and you should be able to see fall starting to make its appearance in mid September and the leaves starting to change. The Cliff House Restaurant at the summit of the mountain has great food and drinks for lunch. If you don't trust us, just ask Mr. and Mrs. Fitz! They took the ride to the top with us and they were not disappointed!
This is an absolute MUST. We always make sure we make time for a sit down breakfast here when we are in town. Mollie's favorite breakfast is the Cheddar Jalapeno Pancakes and Xavier says you can't go wrong with the omelet made to your liking. You’ll often see a line outside and it’s for good reason. We promise it’s worth the wait!
We have logged some time at this spot for sure, even enjoyed watching a few Super Bowls on their big screens. Alfie's has a great beer list and fun food menu. If you know us at all, you know we love a little friendly competition. Alfie's has it all... Shufflepuck, dart boards, cornhole, ping-pong and a mini arcade. Make us proud!
For you IPA lovers, don't even think about leaving Vermont without stopping at the Alchemist. Idletyme Brewing Co also has great beers and is beautiful on a nice day. If you're a Sound of Music fan, make sure you check out the views at the von Trapp Brewing & Bierhall. For you cider lovers, you can't go wrong with Stowe Cider or Cold Hollow Cider Mill just a few minutes away in Waterbury Center.
Check out Ranch Camp for Bike Rentals and information on nearby trail biking for all ability levels
This is our favorite spot to stop in for a coffee and breakfast on the go before starting a day of skiing
There's not shortage of shopping in Stowe. Grab a coffee at Black Cap and walk around the shops on Main Street ( we always seem to find something to buy at Shaw's General Store) There's also plenty of stores on your drive on mountain road up to the mountain and on your walk through Stowe Village at the resort.
