Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear cocktail attire. This includes suits or blazers; cocktail, midi, or maxi dresses; jumpsuits; pantsuits; etc. Just FYI (because we like to know this for weddings), bridesmaids will be wearing navy dresses and groomsmen will be wearing gray suits. Everyone is definitely still welcome to wear these colors.

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately, we have a limited number of guests allowed by the venue. If your invitation is not also addressed to a guest, then we do not have space for your plus one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Invited kids are welcome at both the ceremony and reception.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is plenty of free parking at the golf club. There is also free (and safe) street parking very close by if the parking lot is full.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "travel" tab to find the link for booking a room in the hotel block. It will be at the Element Hotel.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes. Please make a note of your allergy or preference when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a variety of wine, beer, and liquor available at the bar.

What is the weather like in August in St. Louis?

Answer

In August, it's usually still hot in STL. The average August temperature range is 68-88 °F. The 30 minute ceremony and the cocktail hour will be outside, so please keep this in mind. We plan to hand out fans for the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be transportation to and from the hotel. The venue is around 10 minutes from the hotel. Uber/other ride shares are a great option in St. Louis if needed!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes! We are planning on continuing the party after the reception at the rooftop bar of the Element hotel. Drinks and food will not be provided. If you are joining the after party but are not staying at the hotel, we recommend you park at the City Foundry parking garage across the street!
