Our ceremony will take place at Bodega Head. While there is no specific street address, you can easily locate it by entering ‘Bodega Head’ into your maps app. Upon arrival, there will be a designated parking lot, and from there, it’s a short walk to our ceremony site overlooking the ocean on the left-hand side.
The short answer is yes, there are restrooms available at the ceremony location. However, we kindly recommend using the restroom prior to arrival, as the facilities on-site are limited.
As our ceremony will take place along the cliffside at Bodega Head, we recommend selecting footwear that is comfortable and suitable for uneven terrain. Block heels, wedges, sandals, or flats are wonderful options, as there is a slight hill leading to the ceremony site.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are unfortunately not very reliable in Bodega Bay. We encourage guests to plan ahead and consider carpooling, as all of our wedding events will take place within a few miles of one another.
Unlike a traditional plated wedding dinner, we will not have assigned seating. Instead, dinner will be served as elevated passed small bites, including (but not limited to) sliced NY strip, Dungeness crab cakes, seasonal bruschetta, oysters, and deviled eggs. Our intention with this style of service is to create a more relaxed experience that allows us to spend quality time mingling with all of our guests. Additionally, we will have a cheese and charcuterie table available for everyone to enjoy!
As our wedding is along the coast, the weather is typically a bit cool. We recommend bringing a light wrap, shawl, or sweater, as much of the celebration will be held outdoors. An indoor space will also be available for guests to relax during the reception, and a fire pit will be available for gathering throughout the evening.
