Formal & Dark Victorian Romance If you know us, then you know we could never answer this question with a simple answer. We invite you to dress up as much as your heart desires-- there is no such thing as being "overdressed" for this occasion. Embrace the Theme (Optional but Encouraged): To match the spirit of our day, we invite you to draw inspiration from Dark Victorian Romance. Think moody, gothic, elegant, and timeless. If you would like to dress to theme, here are a few ideas to inspire your look: ~ Color Pallet: Deep, rich tones like midnight black, burgundy, emerald green, navy, plum, or charcoal gray. ~ The Fabrics: Velvet, lace, satin, and brocade. ~ The Details: High necklines, ruffles, corsetry, waistcoats, tailcoats, dark florals, and vintage inspired accessories. Please note that whether you go full gothic victorian glamour or stick to a classic, elegant formal look, we just want you there looking and feeling your absolute best! We can't wait to see what you wear.

Will both the ceremony and reception be outside?

YES! We want to ensure all guest know that both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. To make sure you can celebrate comfortably all night long, here are some things to keep in mind: ~Mind your footwear: The ceremony and reception will be on a mix of grass and dirt areas. we highly recommend opting for comfortable and reasonable footwear like wedges or boots. thin heels are highly discouraged. ~Prepare for the elements: The property is known for its beautiful breeze but can often times get quiet windy, and the temperature will most likely drop once the sun goes down. We strongly encourage bringing a warm layer to stay cozy. ~Weather backup: In case the wind gets to cold or the temperature drops too low, we've got you covered. Our reception will take place inside a large, fully enclosed tent to keep the chill at bay.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Our special day is taking place at a private home in a neighborhood. We encourage family and friends to carpool as much as possible. We will have signage directing guest to the home and parking areas, but here is what to expect when you arrive: ~Main Parking: When you arrive, please follow the signs that direct you to park along the large neighborhood roundabout or along the grass. ~Need extra help?: The ceremony and reception are being held at the back of the property. If you or someone in your party requires closer parking, please let us know as we will have some spaces on property available.
