It's Happening!

We met at a mutual friend’s game night—one of those random evenings that wasn’t supposed to mean anything. Until the game of Munchkin came out. A game where you explore dungeons, kill everything you meet, backstab your friends and steal their stuff. Hunter was just another opponent sitting across from me stealing my treasure and trying to beat me out of the dungeon. We joked and engaged in friendly competition throughout the night as one by one our fellow friends were slain, by either losing out of the game or literally falling asleep at the table next to me (I'm looking at you Adelys). It came to me versus hunter, back and forth we battled monsters and tried to best each other in our battles. I looked to my passed out friend and decided we needed the game to come to an end. It comes to Hunters turn, this was it, if he beat this monster he wins the game! I couldn't just quit the game to end this, so I took my Dental Crown card (Yes a literal crown shaped like a tooth) and gifted it over to hunter giving him plus 3 to kill the monster thus letting him win and ending the game. Somehow, that simple game night became one of my favorite memories—because it’s where we began. -Moira And to this day she will never let it down that she "let" me win the game. -Hunter
