The 17 Mile drive is a scenic road through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula. Make sure you stop at the Lone Cypress, one of the most photographed trees in the world, as well as Bird Rock on your beautiful drive. You will also enjoy 5300 acres of the Del Monte Forest full of Monterey Cypress trees!
The Inn at Spanish Bay is one of our favorite places to catch the sunset when we are in town! The Bagpiper has played along the Pebble Beach coastline every day, rain or shine since the Inn opened in 1987. The daily bagpiper performance begins 30 minutes prior to sunset. Grab a table by the firepits and enjoy a beautiful sunset!
If you are looking for the best breakfast in town, look no further! Katy's is one of our favorite local spots. Don't forget to hit up the ATM on your way as it is cash only. Due to the place being so fabulous, you may encounter a wait, but it is worth it!
This coffee shop is a Coughlan family favorite that we refer to as Linda's place. Linda managed the shop for 25 years and has recently retired. We frequent this place for morning coffee accompanied by a walk through town. Even though Linda has moved on, the coffee shop is still at the top of our list!
For all you golf enthusiasts, you are coming to the right place! There are several courses throughout the area but the most iconic one is Pebble Beach. Being a golfer myself I would highly recommend playing one of the ocean front courses in the area if it is on your bucket list!
Dinner with a view in Carmel! Mission Ranch sits on 22 acres with views of Point Lobos, Carmel River Beach, and the Pacific Ocean. This ranch was restored by the former Carmel Mayor, Clint Eastwood. The restaurant also consists of a Piano bar that is known to attract a fun crowd!
