Flight

Leeds Bradford Airport

Leeds Bradford Airport is the closest airport to the area and offers direct flights from London Heathrow. It's a 20 minute taxi to Wharfedale Grange. A 29 minute taxi to the centre of Harrogate. A 22 minute taxi to Ilkley.

Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is a bit further away, at 1.5 hours drive. However, it's a much bigger airport so may be a better option for those flying from further afield as their flight prices tend to be a lot cheaper than London Airport prices.

Train

Harrogate Train Station

Travelling from London: It's possible to get a direct train from London to Harrogate, this service goes every 2 hours from London Kings Cross. Another alternative is to get the train from London Kings Cross to Leeds, and change at Leeds. These times will be much more flexible. Travelling from Birmingham: You will need to get a train from Birmingham New Street to Leeds, and change at Leeds to get the train to Harrogate.

Travelling from London: If you're planning to come to Ilkley, you would need to take the train to Leeds from London Kings Cross and change at Leeds to get the 29 minute train to Ilkley. Travelling from Birmingham: If you're planning to come to Ilkley, you would need to take the train to Leeds from Birmingham New Street and change at Leeds to get the 29 minute train to Ilkley.

This slightly smaller hotel is also a great location if you'd prefer to be in Ilkley. Located right next to the River Wharfe and next to the local park, it's a 5 minute walk into Ilkley. If you don't want to walk that far though, there's a put right downstairs, and also another one just a minute walk around the corner. We like our pubs in Yorkshire.
