May 10, 2025. To ensure the caterers makes enough amazing food for everyone, please make sure to RSVP by this date.
The ceremony will be held in our church, so modest, church attire is requested. However, the reception will be held next to the river and being comfortable while having fun is important. Please anticipate the dirt, possible mud, and walking a short distance. A changing tent will be provided at the reception site for your convenience.
There is not. Our wedding venue is about 30-45 minutes from Farmington, about 15-20 minutes from Bloomfield, and about an hour from Durango, CO, so please plan accordingly. The ceremony will take place about 10-15 minutes away from the reception, and signs will be provided from the church to the reception area.
Yes, kids are welcome, however there will *NOT* be any childcare available. You are responsible for your own children's safety and wellbeing. Please be aware that the reception will be held next to the river, and there is not any barrier preventing them from falling in. The Bride, Groom, their families, and the Majestic Enchantment business will not be held liable for any accidents.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure a timely ceremony.
We are having the reception semi-catered and will not be providing outside options. You are welcome to bring your own meal if food allergies (or picky children) are a concern. Macaroni and Cheese for the kids, or they can eat BBQ with the adults (Yes, the adults can eat the Mac and Cheese, too!). The BBQ meal will be smoked sausage and brisket with corn and potato salad as the sides. As treats, we will have s'mores, cake, and cookies.
There is ample parking just outside the church for the ceremony. There will be limited parking for the elderly, handicapped, and those who need assistance. There will be parking near the reception area for everyone, however some may need to walk a short distance.
The reception area is on the river. There will be bugs, mosquitos, and sun. Possibly some light rain. Bug spray, bracelets, sunblock, and other items will be provided.
Yes, there are several. There will be outdoor games, a bonfire with s'mores, and dancing. During the evening, there will be a garter toss, a bouquet toss, a picture song (or two), the Dollar Dance, and the La Marcha.
For the reception, you are more than welcome to bring your own chair. The spot on the river where the reception will be held can be dry dirt, grassy, or muddy, so please be aware of that.
