Our first date was bowling. We didn't know it was "pay by the hour" and we only bowled one game before we sat down and talked for a couple of hours. When we finally left, JJ went to pay and was told a very large amount. He never said anything, but I saw how big his eyes got. Then he turned to me and asked if I wanted to meet up again the next night. His smile isn’t something he lets out lightly but when he does, I feel dazzled by it. He makes me laugh and I love when I make him laugh by catching him off guard. I am so grateful to have met this guy, from his hilarious moments to his crazy intelligence, he truly is the greatest match for me. To add to things, he came along with the cutest, funniest, and amazing little girl. Then, JJ helped bring me back to God. We went through RCIC together, ending with his confirmation and I took all the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil in 2024. Having both JJ and the little in my life has been such an adventure. From NASCAR, to Disneyland, and all the adventures in between, I couldn't imagine my life without these two. He's my person. And my greatest adventure will be growing old alongside him.
Me and Mo's first date was bowling, which was a new experience because I never lost to a girl. Our second date was dinner at a Sushi Restaurant. I dared Mo to eat a whole glob of Wasabi. She quickly accepted my challenge and defeated me yet again, this time I had to buy her coffee from Dunkin Donuts for a week. The very first time I knew Mo was worth keeping around forever was the day she met my daughter. I saw how easily they got along and connected and it just felt right - I was home. From that day on I never doubted the day would come when we would get married. We have had so many adventures since then - too many to name here and stories for another time. I also have no doubt that there will be many more to come, and for that I am grateful. I thank god everyday for the path he set for me that night at the bowling alley.
