Friend of the Bride, friend of the Groom, and Wife of Groomsman, Tim Nier. Jynelle and the Bride met through their involvement at Jacob's Well Church (Howard, WI), but initially connected through Jynelle's Mother-in-Law, who thought the pair would be great friends. Through God's grace, she was very correct! Within a few years, Jynelle and Madi went from strangers, to neighbors (not intentionally!), to very close friends. Not only does their shared love and trust in Jesus Christ ground their friendship, but they have bonded over multiple life events that they can relate to each other in, which is why they are sure is the purpose God had them meet. Throughout their friendship, Jynelle can be described as genuine, kind hearted, self-less, and ready to give grace-filled encouragement in God. She has not only been present, but truly supportive during many seasons and trials with the Bride. One of these trials included periods of very difficult mental health struggles that Madi has walked through, Jynelle being a trusted piece of the Bride's support system through it all, every time. Besides being a great friend to Madi, Jynelle is a part of a 6 group pair of married friends who are ALL included as members in our bridal party! Jynelle and Tim Nier, Elsie and Jesse Tucker, and the Bride and Groom!! Fun Fact: Jynelle is a chef by profession, and is being incredibly gracious and baking our non-dairy wedding cake for Max and I to cut at the wedding. Thank you!!

Friend of the Bride from Jacob's Well Church (Howard, WI) and Wife to Groomsman, Jesse Tucker. Elsie and the Bride were introduced at a Women's Young Adult dinner through Jacob's Well Church (Howard). Alongside playing croquet, they got to know a bit more about each other. Being in the same friend group, they continued to get to know each other over time alongside Jynelle, Tim, and Elsie's husband Jesse. Madi and Elsie enjoy connecting one on one and with Jynelle, over what the Lord is doing in their lives, how they can pray for each other, and being in nature. Their favorite activity to do together is to go to a coffee shop, grab a good drink, then go for a nature hike. Elsie is incredibly involved in the community, through hosting multiple Bible studies for college age students (Jacob's Well and UWGB Athletes in Action), is a dedicated aunt to her nieces, and has a goal of running a half marathon in each state in the United States!
Abby Kugler

Friend of the Bride from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI). Abby and the Bride met through an InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Evangelism Bible Study, during the second half of Madi's college career. Madi instantly knew she wanted to try to get to know more about Abby, as she kept getting distracted by Abby's fashionable boots during Bible Study, when she was trying to focus on praying!! :) The friends have deepened their friendship significantly more after Madi graduated, which was a year after they met. Specifically talking just about time together, the pair has likely spent more hours with each other post-graduation than they did while studying at the same school. This is ESPECIALLY noteworthy, as they live in different states, which drive is around 3 1/2 hours apart. The couple has enjoyed getting to spend time with Abby multiple times, and getting to know her significant other together during double-dates. She is travelling from Illinois to celebrate with us!
Izzi Roshetko

Friend of the Bride from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI). Izzi and the Bride met at a summer camp through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Izzi was a part of the moment that Madi truly accepted Jesus as her Savior in 2019, and has walked alongside her as a true sister in Christ, mentoring her in her Christian faith ever since. They both love spending time together at coffee shops, talking about their faith, and loved getting to write each other encouraging post-it notes in their shared college bathroom. They not only enjoyed friendship during their undergrad years, but also were being roommates alongside Bridesmaid Julie Ciborosky. The three friends have now all been a part of each other's weddings as Bridesmaids, Madi's big day being the final celebration of the previous roommates finding their God-given partners!!! The couple has enjoyed spending time with her and her husband. During our escape room double date, we realized we both found Godly men who have VERY similar interests. She is traveling from Milwaukee, WI to celebrate with us!
Julie Ciborosky

Friend of the Bride from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI). Julie met the Bride at a weekend retreat through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, where Julie was a Freshman and Madi was a Junior. Their first conversation was in a tree where they connected over their faith and both being a part of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Their friendship got even deeper when they became roommates alongside Bridesmaid Izzi Roshetko during Madi's senior year at Carroll University. Julie and Madi got the opportunity to be Bridesmaids together in Izzi's wedding, and later Madi and Izzi got to reciprocate the role of Bridesmaids at Julie's wedding. Madi can't wait to (finally!) have these two alongside the journey of her own season of engagement, wedding, and marriage. Julie and Madi call each other big and little sister, as they both have (only) brothers, have always been girlie girls, and wanted to have someone to share those passions with. The friends love spending time in Cedarburg, WI, where they love grabbing brunch, coffee, and walking through the quaint small town boutiques. She is traveling from Milwaukee, WI to celebrate with us!
Morgan Schneider

Friend of the Bride and Groom, through Groomsman, Ethan Schneider (husband). Morgan and Ethan were introduced to Madi through Max when the couple first started dating. Morgan and Madi both are brunettes who can be described as bubbly, a little silly, and love Jesus, so they instantly clicked after Morgan warmly invited Madi into their friend group. They love that their fianceé and husband are similar, so that during double dates the friends get the chance to get ALL of the talking and catching up in, that there just never seems to be enough time for!! Morgan and her husband Ethan (Groomsman) are members of The CORE Lutheran Church, alongside the couple.
Cate Miller

Friend of the Bride (& Groom!) and is a cousins with the Groom. Cate, her 4 sisters, and the couple have enjoyed spending time together during family Packer parties, holiday celebrations, boat days during the summer, and playing card games with the Wilke extended family. Cate intentionally welcomed the Bride during a family Thanksgiving celebration when the couple first started dating. She treated Madi as her long-lost sister and an instantly welcomed her as a member of the Wilke family, which meant and still does mean the world to the Bride. Cate is currently studying at St. Norbert College (De Pere, WI) and is involved in multiple organizations and is busy in an internship, getting ready to graduate soon! Cate is related to Max through her mom, Trisha Miller [Wilke], sister of the father of the Groom, Dave Wilke.
Nick VanStraten
Best Man
Longtime friend of the Groom and friend to the couple. Nick and the Groom met early in their High School years, bonding through common interests of video games, card games, and passion of technology. He has been a constant and consistent friend to the Groom throughout high school, Max's 1st and 2nd Associates at FVTC, when Max moved and lived in SD, and now in their late twenties - both back in the Appleton area. The friends currently enjoy working in parallel IT departments within the same company as well as spending time together playing pickleball, video games, and hangouts with Bridemaid and Groomsman, Morgan and Ethan Schneider (together with Madi!).
Nick Wilke

Brother of the Groom and friend to the couple. Nick is a devoted husband and Father to 4 sweet girls. Besides his responsibility and commitment to his family, he enjoys frequent trips all around Wisconsin enjoying the outdoors. He is passionate about fishing and hunting, filming his adventures on his personal YouTube channel, NW Outdoors. Nick also has a small business handcrafting beautiful fishing lures, so hit him up during the reception if you need a new lure or want to learn a little about ice fishing in Wisconsin!
Christian Remington
Groomsman
Brother of the Bride and friend of the couple. He works in the construction industry in Appleton, WI and enjoys spending his time at the gym, doing any sort of activity outside, travelling to visit his college friends in Eau Claire WI, and taking on frequent independent contracting jobs. The couple enjoys getting to spend time with him, during his very limited free time! Fun fact: Christian and the Groom were a partners for a local Winter Season Ping Pong League in 2024! Christian is a High School WI State recognized tennis player and Max an regular Pickleball player, so it was fun for the Bride to watch them having fun as partners together weekly.
Ethan Schneider

Longtime friend of the Groom, friend of the Bride, and husband to Bridesmaid, Morgan Schneider. Ethan and the Groom were introduced through the Best Man, Nick Van Straten, in early High School. The three friends bonded over a mutual love of video games and card games. Ethan and the Groom connect over their many shared interests, such as their PCs (personal computers) they each built, their careers in IT, their passion and dependence on their faith, and during frequent double-dates with Morgan and Madi. Ethan and his wife are also members of the Couple's Church, The CORE.
Jesse Tucker

Friend of the Bride and Groom and husband to Bridesmaid, Elsie Tucker. Introduced to Max through Madi at the beginning of their dating relationship. Madi initially connected with his wife Elsie through Jacob's Well Church and their young adult friend group (Howard, WI). Jesse and the Groom connect through their many shared passions, including faith, technology, learning card and board games, pickleball, and disc golf. They instantly clicked when they met, Max telling Madi right when they left how happy and comfortable he felt with her friends. Not only a friend to the Bride, but now the Groom as well, Jesse, Elsie, Madi, and Max regularly see each other, either with Groomsman Tim and Bridesmaid Jynelle, or on double dates. This group of 6 is very connected and loves to spend holidays together, trying local activities in WI, and sharing how God is working in their lives.

Friend of the Bride and Groom & husband to Maid of Honor, Jynelle Nier. Tim was introduced to Max through Madi during the beginning of their dating relationship, as Madi and his wife were close friends. Madi met Tim and Jynelle through Jacob's Well Church in 2023 and through their young adult friend group there (Howard, WI). Throughout multiple first dates and times of uncertainty in dating, Tim and Jynelle always supported the Bride and encouraging her of God's faithfulness and ultimate plan. Thankfully, when that plan added Max to Madi's life, Tim and the Groom spent many times getting to spend time as a group, feel comfortable, and became friends organically. Tim and Max bond over their shared love of the NFL, playing pickleball together with Madi and Jynelle, and during hangouts with married Bridesmaid and Groomsman, Elsie and Jesse Tucker.
