We *strongly* recommend booking at ArtHotel Portavaldera or an AirBnB in the Peccioli town center, both put you right in the heart of things and make wedding day transportation a breeze. Head to our Travel page for more details and links.
Yes! We're arranging shuttle service for all guests, BUT we need to know where you're staying to plan accordingly. Please make sure to include your accommodation details when you fill out your RSVP on Zola or send directly to us. This is super important!
Funky Formal. And yes, we mean both words. We want formal: gowns, suits, the works. But we also want YOU. This is your moment to pull out that dress you bought and have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear. Feathers? Yes. Sequins? Absolutely. A bold color or a wild print? Please. Just no white. Think black tie energy with a personality. We want to see you walk in and own it.
Tuscany in early September is *chef's kiss*. Warm and sunny, typically in the low-to-mid 80s F (high 20s C) during the day and cooling off pleasantly in the evenings. It's one of the best times of year to be in Italy. Pack light layers for after dark, and don't forget sunscreen for daytime exploring.
The evening before the wedding, we'd love to treat anyone who's already in town to a drink! Details on location and timing are coming soon, keep an eye on the website. It's completely optional, but if you're around, we'd love to start the celebration together early.
Absolutely! We love your little ones and are so glad to celebrate with your whole family. We also completely understand that traveling internationally with kids is its own adventure, and whether you bring them or make it a grown-up trip is entirely up to you. Do what's best for your family. That said, you know your kids best. If the wiggles kick in during the ceremony or our first dance, we just ask that you slip away to another area until the moment passes. We want everyone (including them!) to have a great time.
Not at all, but a little goes a long way. Mia's mom has put together a handful of helpful phrases to get you started with the locals, because nothing wins over a Tuscan like making the effort. Buona Fortuna! Download jpgs to save to your phone's camera roll here: https://we.tl/t-NprYMymyySnO2SRQ
