The National Mall
Walk the monuments and check out the Smithsonian museums. We always love walking from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument. The Air and Space Museum and the National Portrait Gallery are some of our favorite museums.
Smithsonian's National Zoo
The Zoo is a nice walk into Woodley Park, not far from The LINE hotel. It's free to enter and a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon - make sure you reserve your timed entry pass in advance. The Pandas are back!
Georgetown
Georgetown has it all - a waterfront, great shopping, restaurants, and more! Check out the Yellow cafe for a fun pastry or pita.
Malcom X/Meridian Hill Park
Our favorite park (including Marvin!) a block from our apartment. Michael proposed here :)
Dupont Circle Farmers Market
One of the biggest farmers markets in DC. Open Sunday mornings and could be a fun morning activity on the big day.
Union Market
One of DC's classic spots with tons of fun little shops, food stalls, restaurants, and bars!
Le Diplomate
One of our favorite DC restaurants - we have spent many anniversaries and birthdays here. Worth the hype!
Lapis
A DC classic of amazing Afghan food. You must try the mantu, bolani, and dumplings. Note: This is where our rehearsal dinner will be.
La Tejana
The best breakfast tacos in the city. You will probably have to wait in line, but so so worth it!
Timber Pizza Co. Petworth
Our favorite pizza in DC - you MUST get the Bentley pizza if you go!
Thip Khao Restaurant
Amazing Laotian food, all of their dishes are incredible - especially the jerky.
Soleluna
Great coffee and pastries across from The LINE hotel.

Mackenzie's favorite coffee shop in DC with the best quiches!
The Midlands Beer Garden
Our favorite neighborhood bar and where we had our first date :) It's our happy place!
The Green Zone
Middle Eastern-inspired cocktail bar with the best vibes.
St. Vincent Wine
Relaxed neighborhood wine bar with a fun outdoor area, amazing wine selection, and great food.
Red Derby
One of our favorite dive bars in DC :) We love all the beer shot combos!
Mount Desert Island Ice Cream
