Sophia and Monica have been friends since high school, where their shared love of cheerleading first brought them together. Although life took them in different directions after graduation and their friendship paused for a time, it came back even stronger as they each grew deeper in their faith. Their bond was renewed through their love for Christ and strengthened on a mission trip to El Salvador, where they challenged and supported each other outside their comfort zones. Today, their friendship continues to be one of encouragement, purpose, and spiritual growth.

Sarah and Monica first met at line dancing, where their friendship began with two-stepping and laughter. Sarah’s warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put Monica at ease as she worked to find her rhythm on the dance floor. But Sarah’s impact didn’t stop there—she also played a key role in helping Monica get discovered on social media, making it possible for her brother, Matthew, to follow (and eventually connect with) Monica on Instagram. From that moment on, Sarah and Monica’s friendship blossomed into something much deeper. What started with dancing turned into a true sisterhood—one built on joy, support, and lots of unforgettable moments.

Kaelynn and Monica first crossed paths on the very first day of their sophomore year in college. After coincidentally ending up in three of the same classes in a single day, Monica finally took the leap and introduced herself—and the rest was history. From that moment on, they became inseparable study partners, tackling everything college threw their way side by side. Whether it was mastering nursing school check-offs or planning annual summer vacations that still happen to this day, their friendship has only grown stronger with time. Through early morning classes, late-night cramming, and unforgettable adventures, Kaelynn and Monica have truly been through it all together.

Madison and Monica met in nursing school, but their friendship really started to grow during junior year. After countless early morning car rides to clinicals and long hours spent together in and out of the classroom, their bond quickly deepened. Whether they were studying, laughing through stress, or just grabbing coffee between classes, they became a constant source of support for each other. From nursing school to now working together in the ICU, their friendship has only continued to grow.

Abby and Monica met through Cru, a campus ministry they both attended in college. Their friendship began to grow during the 2022 fall retreat and continued to strengthen through weekly discipleship meetups, which quickly turned into multiple hangouts each week. Along the way, they picked up line dancing on Wednesdays, where Abby became Monica’s very first (and still the best!) Tennessee Twister partner. Fun fact: it was at one of those dance nights that Monica first spotted Matthew! Now, even after graduation, their bond remains strong—regularly catching up over coffee at their favorite halfway meeting spot, Shine Coffee.

Addison and Monica met as student nurse interns in the ICU between their junior and senior years of college. Navigating the challenges of critical care side by side, they quickly became each other’s go-to support system. Their bond only grew after the internship ended, and Monica had the honor of standing by Addison’s side on her wedding day. Now, the two work together in the ICU as full-time nurses, continuing to encourage and support one another through every shift—and every stage of life

John and Matthew have been friends since high school, sharing countless memories along the way. Now that John attends Notre Dame, the dynamic of their friendship has shifted a bit—but it’s just as strong. They often challenge each other at the gym and enjoy catching up during breaks from school. Matthew even made a fun trip to visit John on campus, making new memories together. Despite Notre Dame beating Penn State in the Orange Bowl last season, their friendship remains unshaken—full of good-natured rivalry and lasting loyalty.

LJ and Matthew met through LJ’s sister, Monica, and their shared admiration for her sparked the beginning of a great friendship. They both adore Monica—in their own unique ways—which naturally brought them closer together. Jokes aside, Matthew and LJ share a strong work ethic and the pride of being Eagle Scouts, values that have made it easy for their friendship to grow and deepen over time. More than just friends, they’ve come to see each other as the brothers they never had, always ready to support and encourage one another through life’s ups and downs.

Peter is determined and always accomplishes whatever he sets his mind to. The two bond over lifting weights together and sharing dinners at Don Patron’s. Their friendship also extends to the golf course, where they’re both learning to tackle the game—and the friendly competition—side by side.
