ON-SITE LODGING ARRIVALS AND HANG OUT ON PROPERTY Friday, April 24, 2026 10:00 AM The Barn At Valhalla 1040 Duffys Way, Chapel Hill, NC 27516 Attire: Comfy! Please feel free to arrive at whatever time suits you/your plans! Come check-in with us in the Barn when you get there and we'll show you around and take you to your room. The Lodge basement (game room), Hearth Deck, Pond Pavilion, Lawn, Tent and Barn will all be available for hanging and recreating. The main floor of the Lodge will be occupied as we prepare for the Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, and Welcome Party.
It is strongly preferred that kids do not join for the wedding day festivities (Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception). While we love your kiddos, we want those events to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible for everyone - including you. We're happy to help arrange for childcare in the area if that is helpful. We have lots of connections to trustworthy teenagers. Just let us know. Kids are welcome for Friday and Sunday.
Your invitation indicates all invited parties for wedding events. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate additional guests who are not listed on your invitation as our venue has a strict guest limit that we must respect. We are very excited to gather with our nearest and dearest for this special celebration and appreciate your understanding.
-Welcome Party: Casual-Cocktail. Guests are truly welcome to come as they please. It is a party, so feel free to get a little fancy if you want, but no pressure whatsoever. -Wedding: Cocktail/Semi-Formal. We welcome you to wear whatever you're most comfortable in and makes you feel your best. Weather permitting, the ceremony and dinner will be held outdoors (no grass!) so please dress accordingly.
