Answer
Matt and Katie both have careers in the Oil and Gas Industry. Matt is a welding inspector on pipelines and is frequently on the road for long periods. Katie is going on 4 years as a land manager for the New Mexico State Land Office in Hobbs, NM. They will continue to live in Hobbs where Katie's job is.
