Well, everyone wants the cute story of girl meets boy at " fill in the blank." We did not meet in the old fashion way, but the way of the future! Online. Yes, I know it doesn't sound as pretty as the old ways, but with our busy lives, we found each other online and couldn't be happier. We would have never met otherwise.
Deep in the mountains of Alberta Canada while chasing Elk and Moose through the forest was the original plan for the proposal. It would have been majestic, but that's not how it went down. The ring is a custom design by the founder of the Santa Fe Gold works. This made the ring take a bit longer than expected to make and thus missed the trip to Canada. The groom struggled to find the right moment and couldn't come close to recreating anything close to his original plan. Finally, he proposed just after midnight on New Years Day. The bride half-asleep took a bit to catch on to what he was doing. He finally got down on one knee and said, "I am tired of waiting. I want to make sure the first thing I do this year is to ask you to be my wife."
Bronson and I are so happy to have Matt in our lives. Bronson wanted us to get married even before we talked about it. We are delighted to be one big happy family. Both the Espinosa and the Newton families have opened up their families and welcomed everyone. Bronson has new grandparents he lovingly calls Big Mama and Big Papa. The Espinosa boys are excited to have a big brother in Matt.
