We met on August 11th, 2014, at the UVM Ski Room to go on a bike ride after corresponding via the dating app Tinder (which we now will admit but didn't for at least two years). It all started on a bike (shocking). I actually hated that specific ride because I was biking on a very old road bike. This is when I learned that nice bikes make a difference. Despite my ancient bike and inability to keep up, Kevin decided to stay in Burlington, VT during my junior year of college. This was also Kevin's first year on the Canadian Ski Team. Though our relationship has never been "normal" due to being apart much of the year while Kevin is racing in Europe, it has never come between the love we share for each other.

After spending 10 hours and 29 minutes on mountain bikes (together the entire way) racing the Leadville 100, Kevin proposed to me in front of hundreds of people. Not a bad time to ask a girl to marry you after she bikes for 10.5 hours!!!
