Brother Jon's Public House

This is one of our favorite restaurants. They always have amazing specials, salads, and sandwiches. Get their fries with the bomb sauce, they are our delicious. Don't forget to order a fresh squeezed Greyhound while you are there.

Super Burrito

The best cure for a hangover the next day is a breakfast burrito from here.

Mediterranean style food... Michael orders the steamed Clams.

Todd Lake

Todd Lake

Snuggled in between Bachelor, South Sister and Broken Top you will find Todd Lake. It's a quick mile(ish) walk around the lake. This was Louie's favorite spot to bark and run around.

Elk Lake Resort and Marina

60000 Century Dr, Bend, OR 97701
, (541) 480-7378

Look at the backside of Bachelor while eating a burger and their chili fries! If you are lucky, you might see a silver fox named Foxy who lives near the lake.

Float the Deschutes River

Float the Deschutes River

If it is hot enough put your bathing suite on, rent or borrow a floatie and float down the Deschutes. Also paddle boards and kayaks are available to rent at: https://tumalocreek.com/rentals/. Depending on where you drop in, this could take up to 3 hours. Make sure you have lots of sunscreen and water.

Tumalo Falls is a must see in Bend. Just a short 20 minute drive west you fill find a breathtaking waterfall. You can walk to the top of the falls and continue on the trail for a moderate 6.5 mile hike.
