The first time Matt knew he was going to marry Katie was walking to the car with her on 9.9.18 after the Packers Bears game. He proposed on 9.13.19 outside of Lambeau at the top of the sledding hill.

Matt & Katie became a couple on 9.23.18. Even before dating they made it to a Badger & Packer game. They hit up the brewers one week after making it official. Matt pulled out all the stops to get her!

Pet spotlight: Matt's dog's name is Hercules. He is 90lbs of lap dog love and is a big part of what kept Katie coming back to the game nights Matt hosted in 2017 & 2018. Herc is a pitbull mastiff mix.

Did we mention that we love Hercules?!

For Christmas 2018 Matt and Katie got each other matching shirts from the Catholic Stuff You Should Know podcast. It was not planned but was a big laugh on Christmas Morning to open the same gift!

We love ice cream. This was taken the first time Katie took Matt to Olson's in Chippewa Falls. The debate is still out between Olson's and Kelly's Country Creamery in Eden. (Yes, it is a hard choice!)

Matt smiled as Katie walked around a local Madeline Island art exhibit Memorial Day almost in happy tears. Katie minored in Studio Art and this was the first time Matt saw how much art means to Katie

Matt works as a Mechanical Engineer for a small company in Waupun, WI designing scissor lifts. Katie works as a Director of Religious Education for two Catholic Churches in Eden and Campbellsport, WI.

Katie introduced Matt to Tremblay's Candy Store in Hayward, WI on the way home from Madeline Island. The video Matt sent his family of walking past all the candy in the store totaled almost two mins!

Matt and Katie didn't take any pictures of their "real" proposal where it was just the two of them. HOWEVER, one week earlier during a vacation this was a required scavenger hunt photo in Kansas City!

Matt will be 33 and Katie is 26. Because of the age difference we figured out that Katie watched Matt play in the Badger Band when she was in high school. Pictured here: Matt's director's last concert

Pet Spotlight: Meet Remy! Katie got Remy at 3 months old. Matt watches Remy when Katie is out of town for summer mission work. Matt sent Katie this picture the first time he ever watched Remy.

Herc and Remy do very well in the car together. Still working on Herc not chasing Remy because he wants to play. We take both pets to Rice Lake WI to visit Katie's family. This picture was not staged!
