Meghan’s best friend since seventh grade, Aliaa has been a cherished part of her life ever since she moved to Sharon. She and her husband, Omar, are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their third son this March, who will join brilliant, big brothers Kareem and Zakariya. While they can’t attend the celebration, their love and spirit will be with us on this special day.

One of Meghan’s first friends at Boston University, Nicole has been a constant presence in her life for over 15 years. From Boston to San Francisco, their bond has only grown stronger. Nicole now resides in New Rochelle, NY, with her husband, Patrick, and their adorable daughter, Penelope.

First introduced through Nicole during junior year at BU after she and Dekyil studied abroad in Sydney, Dekyil and Meghan’s friendship truly blossomed when Dekyil moved to the Bay Area. Over time, she has become one of Meghan’s closest friends. She and her husband now live in Mill Valley, where they enjoy life’s adventures with their golden retriever, Kona.

Meghan and Laura’s friendship began during their days serving together at Pacific Catch in San Francisco’s Sunset District—days now far behind them. Laura has since built a successful career as a Chief of Staff and is a constant source of inspiration, often offering Meghan invaluable career advice. She lives in San Francisco with her partner, Leo, and their sweet Goldendoodle, Gatsby.

Andrea and Meghan became fast friends during their sophomore year of college and quickly grew inseparable. When Meghan was looking for a change, she moved to the Bay Area and lived with Andrea’s family in Redwood City—a decision that shaped her life in countless ways. Andrea now works as an actress in Los Angeles, lighting up both the screen and Meghan’s world with her talent and friendship.

Amanda is more than a sister-in-law to Meghan—she’s a mentor, a close friend, and the sister Meghan always dreamed of having. Meghan and James feel deeply honored to have Amanda officiate their wedding and are forever grateful to Pete for marrying such an incredible woman.

Father of the Bride

Meghan’s incredibly supportive and loving father, Tom, and his wife, Susan, relocated to Candler, North Carolina, upon retirement to be closer to their beloved son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Amanda. They have found a welcoming community and enjoy a happy life with their dogs and surrogate children, Socrates and Lexi, who adore them. Tom and Susan very generously funded this wedding, providing an unforgettable experience for James and Meghan to celebrate with their loved ones!

Meghan’s amazing mother and closest confidant, Susan plays a pivotal role in keeping the Wrublewski family close-knit. She strengthens the bond between the Wrublewskis and her new son-in-law, James, by planning unforgettable family vacations and trips, whether back to Massachusetts to visit family, to Texas to meet their new family, the McDaniels, or exploring new destinations across the U.S. and beyond!
