This was our first hike together (and many more after) as well as where we took our engagement photos!
Not only does Crafted have delicious food and an amazing patio, but on Friday nights at 10:00 there are turtle races! Trust me, you don't want to miss this experience (and you might get a $1 beer if you pick the right turtle)
Wether it's kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing (or tipping a canoe), ROW Adventures is a great place to rent from!
The North Idaho Centennial Trail is 23 miles long, extending from the Idaho/Washington state line to Higgens Point, 6 miles east of Coeur d’Alene at the end of Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive. At state line, it connects with the Spokane River Centennial Trail, which extends through Riverfront Park (22.5 miles west of the state line) and on to Nine Mile Falls.
A great restaurant right on a pond near the hotels!
On our first "fancy" date, Marcus took Lauren here. On the drive there, Lauren, not being the biggest fan of fish at the time, said "I'll just have some California rolls". Marcus was insistent that Lauren had to give it a try, and if after that night she did not like it he would never ask her to try it again. Needless to say, it remains both of our favorite restaurants as its absolutely delicious!
If you know Lauren, you know she loves ice cream so you better believe she's vetted every ice cream place in the area. Sweet Peaks definitely takes the cherry on top, and get's Marcus' vote too since it's a Montana based company!
If your looking for a fun place to take a day trip, Green Bluff is the place to go! Located about 15 miles north of Spokane (about 45 minutes away from CDA), Green Bluff is an area with over 30 small family farms and fruit stands. And lucky for you, you'll be here right in the start of fall which means plenty of apple and pumpkin picking, pumpkin donuts, fresh pies and cider, corn mazes, and more!
