4:00PM. We will start the ceremony on time. Please be mindful that traveling from Waikiki to Ko Olina takes around 25-30 minutes on Google Maps. However, traffic is EXTREMELY HEAVY as this is rush hour in Hawai'i. Most O'ahu residents commute from downtown Honolulu to the West Side/Central O'ahu (including Julie). Traffic begins around 2:30PM and a 25-30 minute drive can easily turn into an 80-90 minute drive if you do not leave by 2:30PM.
There are 200 stalls available at the site. No parking overnight or you will be tolled as this is a private property. A parking attendant will be at the gate from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. to let guests into the parking lot. After 6:30 p.m., your guests will need a code to enter into the parking lot. The code is 2008* (only valid for this 8/12).
Yes, both are available on island. However, please be mindful of surge pricing and traffic. We highly recommend renting a car to truly explore the whole island as uber/lyft can be expensive.
It will be an outdoor wedding in August, so dress comfortably. We will be watching an epic Hawai'i West Side sunset with an ocean view, so please make sure to bring your sunglasses. We want you to feel comfortable and look your best! Nobody will be thrown out of the wedding for their attire. Ladies- sundresses, aloha attire, and cocktail dresses are great. We recommend flats, wedges, or block heels as the venue is grass. Men- Aloha shirts, polos, and collared shirts are great. Jackets/suits are welcome, but not required. We ask you to please refrain from jeans and board shorts.
We would absolutely love to and something we will add on as the date gets closer. Please keep Julie and Mitchell in the loop with your travel plans. We will be taking vacation time so we would love to spend time with our friends/family!
