Our story first began during our first year of college at Youngstown State University, where we were both in the same medical program. While we were acquaintances and had class together, we didn't talk much that first year of college...until we decided to study together. We agreed to have a study session together but instead found ourselves unable to stop talking. And the rest is history. Since then, we have graduated from Youngstown State University together, attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), and successfully graduated medical school while both matching in our top residency programs (Mitchell matched Anesthesiology at University Hospitals in Cleveland, while Fariha matched Pediatrics at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron). We endured a global pandemic together lol. We adopted our first cat, Mylo, and then quickly adopted a second cat, Naomi. We discovered that we have so many shared hobbies: spending summer days boating on Mosquito Lake or lounging by the pool, watching any and every Marvel movie, cooking dinner together, discovering new music, watching football (Mitchell is fortunately - or unfortunately? - a Steelers fan), and exploring the outdoors. We can't wait to celebrate August 30th with all of you!
