Hyatt House

We do have a new hotel with a block of rooms and suites reserved for anyone who would like to stay over at The Hyatt House. Reservations can be made by visiting https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/new-york/hyatt-house-fishkill-poughkeepsie/swfxf?corp_id=G-OMEA (you will need to put in the proper dates before the rate will show up) or by calling 845-897-5757 and indicating that you are part of the O’Meara DeSimone wedding. I apologize for the short notice, but any reservations must be made BEFORE AUGUST 2 in order to take advantage of the group rate. There will be a shuttle to provide transportation between the dinner and the hotel. The hotel has also agreed to open the bar for our group after the dinner. The bar has been closed during the pandemic, but they will have a private area available for us for three hours. There will be a cash bar, and anyone is welcome to attend. There should be enough room for approximately 50 guests to spread out and remain distant.

Flight

LaGuardia or JFK International Airports

Flying into either LaGuardia or JFK airport will give you access to private or public transit options to get to Poughkeepsie. A car may be booked at either airport according to your travel plans. Additionally, either airport will allow you to travel into Manhattan (JFK by train, bus or taxi, LaGuardia by bus or taxi). From Manhattan, head to Grand Central Station where a train ticket can be booked direct to Poughkeepsie, which is the final stop on the Hudson Line. From Poughkeepsie Station, it is approximately 10 minutes by cab or Uber to The Homewood Suites.

Flight

Stewart International Airport

This is the closest airport to Poughkeepsie, but will require a rental car or 30 minute cab ride to get to Poughkeepsie. Additionally, prices will likely be slightly more expensive than traveling to the NYC airports depending on where you are coming from.

Newark Liberty International Airport

Newark is typically the least expensive flight option, especially for those traveling internationally. It is also the furthest airport from Poughkeepsie, requiring approximately a 1 hour and 45 minute drive with no public transit option.
