Ceremony

For anyone who is planning on attending the ceremony in person, we have changed our church to help promote social distancing. We will be getting married at St. Mary Mother of the Church, located at 106 Jackson St, Fishkill NY 12524. St. Mary’s has a normal capacity of 900, and we are anticipating under 100 guests for the ceremony. This should allow for everyone to maintain a safe and comfortable distance during the ceremony. The church is air conditioned, so wearing a mask during the ceremony should be comfortable. The parish has been hosting mass during the pandemic according to state and local guidelines and has assured us that entering and exiting the building will be able to be done comfortably and safely. We ask that anyone planning to attend the ceremony arrive well ahead of time, as it will likely take some time for everyone to enter while maintaining a safe distance. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM.
Dinner
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Rather than a traditional reception, we will be holding a four-course dinner and open bar after the ceremony. The dinner will take place at The Links at Union Vale, located at 153 N Parliman Road, Lagrangeville NY 12540 starting at 5:00 PM. There will be plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors to accommodate social distancing. We do ask that all guests wear a mask when they are not seated at their dinner table. We will not be assigning seating, so you if you do decide to attend the dinner you will be able to select any location that feels safe and will be able to sit with a group of people with whom you are comfortable. The venue has been following a very strict cleaning regimen to ensure safety of all of our guests. There will not be dancing, and many of the activities associated with a traditional reception needed to be cut out to ensure the safety of our guests.
Hotel

We do have a new hotel with a block of rooms and suites reserved for anyone who would like to stay over at The Hyatt House. Reservations can be made by visiting https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/new-york/hyatt-house-fishkill-poughkeepsie/swfxf?corp_id=G-OMEA (you will need to put in the proper dates before the rate will show up) or by calling 845-897-5757 and indicating that you are part of the O’Meara DeSimone wedding. I apologize for the short notice, but any reservations must be made BEFORE AUGUST 2 in order to take advantage of the group rate. There will be a shuttle to provide transportation between the dinner and the hotel. The hotel has also agreed to open the bar for our group after the dinner. The bar has been closed during the pandemic, but they will have a private area available for us for three hours. There will be a cash bar, and anyone is welcome to attend. There should be enough room for approximately 50 guests to spread out and remain distant.
