Ellie knocked out most of the major wedding planning in the first five weeks of engagement.😆 She loves cows, coffee, her dog Jules, Mitchel (of course), so many more people and Jesus! She has lived in three different countries, and has visited a total of six countries. She is hoping Japan will be number seven on her list. Mitchel is the man she has prayed for since she was a teenager, and is pumped for the big day!:)

Mitchel enjoys playing golf and has developed a sneaker obsession.👟 He has a complex Chipotle order, and loves sushi. Trying new restaurants and food is always on his mind, and he enjoys staying in to watch sitcoms and eat soup:) Japan is on the top of his list of places he wants to visit, and he is already researching golf courses he wants to play at when there.

Lauren is Ellie’s big sister. They have been best friends since Ellie was born! Lauren is an incredible artist, and works as a Graphic Designer. Fun Fact: she will laugh at anything.🤪

Ellie met Selah at Hidden Acres Christian Center in Iowa. They have counseled together, and were roommates for two years. Selah is also a bomb barista!
Hannah Bender

Ellie met Hannah at Hidden Acres Christian Center when they were in high school. Twelve years later and now they work together at Scheels! If you need a new pair of shoes talk to Hannah.
Nicole Hartmann

Ellie and Nicole met through The Salt Company in Cedar Rapids, IA. They were in the same small group for a year and then headed over to East Asia together through The Salt Company. They lived in a new culture, learned a new language, and spread the gospel together:)

Ellie and Hannah met through The Salt Company in Cedar Rapids, IA. They co-lead a small group together for a year. They also worked at Old Navy together (a job which Hannah helped Ellie get.) No matter how long they are a part they can always meet up right where they left off:)

Mitchel met Tom when he was 8-years-old through Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kansas City. Now they have celebrated knowing each other for 21 years! Tom is Mitchel’s dad and best friend. He enjoys watching football, playing golf and can make friends anywhere he goes.
