Micala is an inspiring, industrious, devoted, and a supportive sister. Micala and their mom paved the way for Hannah to backpack around the world with a free heart and spirit. Micala is married and expecting her first kid while working as an engineer!

Iris and Hannah met in their mothers' wombs they like to say, but it was high school when their friendship took off. They became close through going to youth group, sharing laughs and their hearts. Iris is getting married the month before Hannah, and is about the best friend you could ask for. Catch her nursing in Denver and being beautifully bold and thoughtful.

Emy and Hannah endeavored to make their childhood as wondrous as possible from writing to fairies to their own clubs they created. They forged a strong bond and goofiness that lasts through changing seasons. You can find Emy, spunky, adventurous, and kind, cruising down ski slopes or producing television and film.

Anneli and Hannah grew up together. As Hannah was kicking soccer balls growing up, Anneli was twirling on the dance floor. Now Anneli, steadfast, and full of grace and joy, is married and working in science technology. The two buddies bond over their pursuit of Christ and love to spend time together.

Katie and Hannah were immediate friends on Jacob’s squad. Sitting and praying in the rain of Guatemala, Katie being a steadfast encourager to Hannah in Honduras, and Hannah watching Katie and Jack (one of the groomsmen) climb a tower outside a bus station in Nicaragua! Katie has a pure heart, wonder, creativity, and sense of adventure that brings so much light into the world! She is the most intentional and thoughtful friend.

Aliseya came into Hannah’s life the same time that Jacob did, on the same missions trip. Hannah truly doesn’t know how she could have gotten through that time of leadership without this wise, consistent, creative, prayer warrior by her side. Aliseya is a spirit sister for Hannah that saw her whole heart journey leading to Jacob and is spurring Hannah on to all God has for her.

Valerie and Hannah became friends at University of Portland, friends that balance each other so well. From weekend coffee dates, to retreats, to Bible studies, Valerie was a crucial friend for Hannah that helped her to grow so much. As Valerie works as a nurse in Oregon she faithfully encourages Hannah and authentically lives with integrity.

Madi and Hannah could be found at conferences and Bible studies in college discovering new heights in the Lord. Madi is a leader that brings a lot of joy to the world and runs after what is good. These days you can find her working as an engineer for Disney and married in California!

Kate and Hannah first hung out on a snowshoeing trip in Oregon, and then they became friends through their faith in college. Kate is welcoming, encouraging, down-to-earth, and funny. All things Hannah loves. You can find her working hard as a nurse in Oregon.
Mackenzie

Mackenzie walked into Hannah’s life on her last mission trip. For one and half months it was just the two girls being taken care of by Albanian grandparents, praying deeply, and seeing many come to faith as they preached the Gospel. They quickly became sisters walking through a similar season of surrender and new love. Mackenzie lights up entire communities and boldly walks in conviction and beauty.

Robert has been Jacob's best friend his whole life, his biggest mentor, encourager, and also his Dad! Robert now blesses people through his full time counseling business. However, he has spent the majority of his life sacrificially serving people in various types of ministry. He is one of the most loving and compassionate people you will ever meet!

My name is Jared, and although I love mountains and beaches I currently reside in the furthest place possible from that (aka Central Texas). I met Jacob in college where he became the Master Oogway to my Po(e). He helped show me how to share the Gospel, not limited to Star Wars references and picking up trash.

I’m Brandon, I’m in grad school because I hate myself and love to learn. I rule over waco with my mediocre latte art. Jacob and I have been friends since college since I was a freshman and he was my mentor. After that our friendship grew stronger when I became his personal chef and we were besties ever since.

I’m (another) Jake. I grew up in good ol’ Boerne, TX where I became close friends with Jacob through middle school and high school hanging at church and playing disc golf. I’m the movie guy who will always be hitting up Jacob to talk about the latest Star Wars and deep conversations about life.

Hi friends, my name is Jack. I take leftover chocolate off of random peoples tables at restaurants, I often drop things when i take them out of the fridge, I will probably laugh through the whole process finding joy in the small stuff! I made friends with Jacob because at first glance he looked homeschooled and Colton was explaining drugs to him and he looked in need of a friend - but when i got to know him he became one of my favorite people and has made a huge impact on my heart!!!
