The Wedding Website of Tara Gasparovic and Mitch Abbott
Question

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place?

Answer

Your health and well being is our top priority! Our venue is taking precautions and following the guidelines outlined by the state of North Carolina. The ceremony is fully outdoors and the reception is partially indoors with an outdoor area for those not comfortable mingling indoors. Masks will be available. Nearly 80% of you are vaccinated (yay!). For those who are not, we respectfully ask that you get tested for COVID-19 prior to our wedding. If you are not feeling well, we kindly ask that you not attend for the safety of our other guests.

Question

Do we need to get tested for COVID-19 prior to attending?

Answer

If you are not vaccinated, we would greatly appreciate it if you can be tested within a 72 hour window prior to our wedding. There are several free ways to get tested, including drive through appointments at CVS or Walgreens.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Masks are not required but will be available for those who would like one.

Question

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

We recommend taking Uber or Lyft from your hotel to The Alexander Homestead. If you've never used Uber or Lyft, text Tara or Mitch for a code that will give you a discount on your first ride! The venue is a short 15 minute drive from your hotel. There is also parking available on site.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids, but we want this to be your night off! We're happy to help you find a babysitter if you're traveling here with your family.

Question

Will Watson be in the wedding?

Answer

Duh.

For all the days along the way
