Please RSVP by July 5, 2021.
We recommend using the pre-arranged shuttle service. If you do choose to drive, please plug the address in to your GPS ahead of time, as you will lose service along the drive. Two shuttles will pick up from the Monterey Marriott (350 Calle Principal, Monterey) and will depart the hotel at 2:15pm. After the wedding and reception, they will depart the vineyard at 9:45pm and 10:00pm to return to the Monterey Marriott. If you are not staying at the Monterey Marriott, you can park at one of two nearby garages (Downtown West and Downtown East) and walk up to the hotel to take the shuttles.
The wedding will be held at Joullian Vineyards, 20300 Cachagua Rd, Carmel Valley, CA 93924. Joullian has another address, 2 Village Dr, Carmel Valley, CA 93924, which is the location of their wine tasting room. THIS IS NOT THE LOCATION OF OUR VENUE. This is about 35 minutes from the venue.
If you choose to drive to the wedding, there will be parking available. However, please be aware that the drive is a bit steep and could be challenging at night. Additionally, cell service can be spotty. We recommend using the arranged shuttle service. The wedding is taking place in a vineyard a bit high up in the hills. The roads can be curvy so we recommend you bring Non-Drowsy Dramamine if you tend to get carsick. We will do our best to provide some on the shuttles!
Cocktail attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. In fact, we recommend flats or chunky heels for ladies as this is an outdoor event and we don't want your shoes sinking into the grass! Example for men: A suit and tie or dinner jacket and slacks. Example for women: A cocktail dress or dressy jumpsuit.
Weather in Monterey in September ranges from 54 to 72 degrees, so bring a jacket and pants for night time! Weather in Carmel Valley (where the wedding is) in September ranges from 50 to 80, so it may be warm during the ceremony and cooler at night. Ladies may want to bring a shawl, evening wrap, or cardigan. Rain is very unlikely in this area at this time of year, but if you're going on a whale-watching tour you may want to bring a windbreaker.
