Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The reception will be at the St Louis Zoo, located in Forest Park. Please use the South Entrance. Here is a link to a map of the zoo: https://www.stlzoo.org/visit/thingstoseeanddo. The reception venue is located at the McDonnell Center in River Camp. It's right by the River Camp Cafe on the edge of the red part of the map.

Where should I park?

Answer

Please enter through the South Parking lot. Let them know you are here for our wedding, and they will let you park for free! (You can also park on the street there, but it might be hard to get a close spot)

Is your wedding handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! At the Zoo a golf cart will be available to transport between the parking lot and the venue. We ask that the golf cart be used only by people who need it or by families with young children. The venue at the zoo is totally handicap accessible.

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

The gifts we are most looking forward to are your presence at our wedding and/or your well wishes for our marriage! Please do not feel obligated to give us anything (especially if you gave us a gift when we married last year).

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss having you on our special day, but we understand that not everyone can make it. If this applies to you, please make sure to send us your “no” RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. You can RSVP with the RSVP card found in your invitation, or on this website.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The doors at the reception will open promptly at 6:30. However, if you get there early you can always spend some time exploring and seeing the animals. We love the brown bears and the penguins!

Are children invited?

Answer

Absolutely! We both love kids, and can’t imagine celebrating without the younger members of our family.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Because of that, our guest list is by RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate any guests listed on your invitation. Thanks for your understanding!

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be having some light appetizers, a Caribbean themed buffet dinner, and cupcakes. We will also be having an open beer, wine, and soda bar. Everything is peanut-free, but there will be fish, shellfish, and coconut in some of the foods. Let us know if you have any dietary concerns and we will make arrangements for you to receive a special meal.
