This is a double decker bus which travels all over New Orleans, including Uptown and some neighboring areas. This may be a great Friday activity for all ages.  Check for coupons on Groupon. I often see 2 for 1 tickets.

Allowed to go in during daytime hours, unless there is a wedding.

St. Louis Cathedral

I love this free exhibition/museum in the center of the Quarter. Also, has a great gift shop and clean bathrooms. Kids are allowed.

The Historic New Orleans Collection

Free. Easy location on Decatur. Small exhibits in a pretty location.   Near a candy/praline store near the Crescent City Brewhouse on the main drag "Decatur. Clean bathrooms. All ages.

French Quarter Visitor Center

Near our Hotel in the famous "Frenchmen Street" live music small bars. Walkable from the Hotel. May be great area for Friday Night !

One of Missy's all time favorite locations. Restaurant in the front but tell them you are heading to the bar in the back. After you get your drink, head upstairs to enjoy the view from the gorgeous iron balcony. By Cathedral.
