Things To Do

San Diego is the most magical place in the world! (According to Missy.) Whether you are just coming for the weekend or want to make a little vacation out of it, there is plenty to do in San Diego!

Views for days! One of Missy and Jon's favorite lookout spots.

San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance

Best Zoo in the U.S.! Your ticket includes a 30-minute Guided Bus Tour (well worth it!), the hop-on hop-off Kangaroo Bus, and the Skyfari Aerial Tram. There's a children's play area with a splash pad and climbing ropes. There are also other climbing opportunities for kids throughout the zoo.

Balboa Park

San Diego, CA

Balboa Park is HUGE! The San Diego Zoo is inside the park but you can skip the zoo and enjoy the other sites. There are small museums and gardens, and a handful of restaurants. Talented artisans display and sell their work at the shops in The Spanish Village. The Spreckles Organ is the world's largest fully outdoor organ. You can hear a performance every Sunday from 2-3:00PM. Park once and choose your activities!

Liberty Public Market

, (619) 487-9346

If you have many people with many tastes, this is a great place to eat! The Public Market has over 25 food stands with options at each place. Each person can get what they want, and meet up to eat indoors or outdoors.

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station

Beautiful brewery in Liberty Station with great food and beer! Outdoor seating is great!

Great place for hiking! It also has flat or slight incline trails and canyons and an asphalt road for walking through the gorge.

Cowles Mountain

San Diego, CA 92119

A favorite hike for Missy. At 1,593 ft, Cowles Mountain is the highest point in San Diego city limits.

Old Town

San Diego, CA

Historic old-time San Diego! Visit historic buildings, enjoy shopping, and then choose one of the many amazing Mexican restaurants.

La Jolla Cove

San Diego, CA 92037

Head up to La Jolla to see the sea lions and seals, along with other interesting birds and plants! There are also great restaurants and places to shop.
