International Rose Test Garden
This beautiful and historic garden is the place where Eric asked Lindsey to officially be his girlfriend in 2014! There are over 10,000 rose bushes of approximately 650 varieties. A perfect place to visit while in Portland, nicknamed the "City of Roses"

Forget everything you think you know about pizza and go try a slice at this happy couple's favorite pizzeria for lunch or dinner! (The "Miss Piggy" pie is highly recommended family favorite)

The restaurant is the location of Eric and Lindsey's first "fancy" dinner date in Portland. OMSI
Following graduation, Eric and Lindsey went together to the "Dinosaurs Alive" exhibit at OMSI located along the Willamette River. OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a haven for hands on scientific exploration for all ages. MAX Light Rail is a Portland preferred method of transportation that connects Portland City Center with Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, North/Northwest Portland and Portland International Airport. MAX Light Rail runs every 15 minutes or better most of the day, every day
Voodoo Doughnut
No Portland experience is complete without a trip to this kooky dessert shop! There is a famously wide assortment of unusually flavored doughnuts, such as "The Loop" (a classic doughnut covered in vanilla frosting and fruit loop cereal) or the "Bacon Maple Bar" (a maple bar doughnut topped with strips of crispy bacon) which is arguably the very doughnut that originally put Voodoo Doughnut on the map!

Powell's headquarters, dubbed Powell's City of Books, is the largest independent new and used bookstore in the world and a cornerstone in the city of Portland. Any book lover needs to stop by!
