Hotel

Dievole Wine Resort

Via Dievole, Vagliagli, Toscana 53019, Italy
 +39 0577 322632

We have exclusive use of Dievole for our wedding weekend, that can accommodate the majority of our guests. The cost for on-site accommodations at Dievole is a flat rate of $325 per room, per night, for a three-night minimum stay. Some rooms are able to sleep 3 or 4 - if that is something you’d prefer, feel free to reach out! Because Dievole is a private estate buyout, the venue requires that all room payments be collected in advance, rather than at check-in. While this may be different from typical U.S. hotel stays, it is standard practice for destination weddings and villa rentals in Italy. To simplify this process for our guests, we will collect lodging payments directly via email and we (Brian and Miriam) take care of managing the arrangements with the venue. All you need to do is RSVP! RSVP INFORMATION: RSVPs are due by April 1st. After RSVPs are finalized, guests staying on-site will receive a secure payment link via email. Payment will cover the full three-night stay We truly appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to confirm room assignments and finalize plans with the venue!

Travel Note

Travel Information

Flying Options: Guests traveling from the U.S. have a few convenient airport options when coming to Tuscany. Rome (FCO) is typically the easiest and most affordable airport to fly into, with many direct international flights. From Rome, guests can either take a train north toward Florence or rent a car and drive to the venue. Florence (FLR) is the closest airport to the venue, but flights are often smaller and may require a connection. Pisa (PSA) is another nearby airport option. From Pisa, the venue is about a 1.5-hour drive through the Tuscan countryside. Train Options: Italy’s train system is one of the easiest and most comfortable ways to travel between cities. Many guests flying into Rome choose to take the high-speed train from Rome to Florence, which takes about 1–1.5 hours. These trains are spacious, allow seat reservations, and have plenty of luggage storage. From Florence, guests can either: - Rent a car and drive to the venue, or - Take a regional train to Siena (about 1.5 hours) and then a short 15–20 minute taxi or car service to the venue. Train tickets can be booked in advance here: https://www.italiarail.com/pages/routes/rome-fiumicino-airport-to-florence Booking early usually provides the best options for timing, seats, and pricing. Driving Options: For guests who prefer flexibility or plan to explore Tuscany, renting a car can be a great option. Approximate driving times: - Rome → Venue: about 2.5 hours - Florence → Venue: about 1 hour - Pisa → Venue: about 1.5 hours Driving allows you to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside and nearby towns like Siena, Castellina in Chianti, and San Gimignano.
