I call her Awura, Abby, Bestii, hun, love, darling and the list goes on! I have known Abena for about 5 years. We got real close during her last year of undergraduate, as we were both teacher assistants for General Chemistry. We later on had to study for the MCAT together and moved on to matriculate into the same medical school as roommates! Only God knows the hurdles we have had to jump, climb, and go through together. We fight, we laugh, we cry, we play a lot and we struggle together. This is one person who knows me in and out. She is not only a sister to me but she is a daughter to my parents. Abena is part of my family! I am more than blessed to share my special day with my best friend, it is both our day! Love you best..

There's nothing like a really loyal, dependable, and good friend like my brother Holy Mbah. I call him Don Peti. He is more than my best friend, he is my brother. I have known Holy for over 9+ years. Our relationship began way back in high school. We have learned a lot from each other, although I will say that I've learned more from him. He has always been there for me through my ups and downs. He has advised me, been straight forward with me, and most of all, keep it real with me even when I was wrong. I can't thank him enough for being in my life and for being my best man.

I call her wifey and monks. Carine has been my friend for over 10 years!! Infact, Carine was there from the very beginning of my relationship with Emmanuel. Back in high school, we would try to run away from Emmanuel together and Carine will cover for me so I can escape from him. Hahaha. (Well it looks like Emmanuel won after all.) This amazing lady has been a constant friend in my life. She is someone I can rely on at all times, a real friend, and a living example to me. I was honored to be part of her wedding as maid of honor and I know my wedding will be incomplete without my wifey!

I call her Mimi, Sis, and Mimmssss. I have known Mimi my whole life. She is not only my sister but she is my second mom. She has a heart of gold. She is one of the most kind and loving person I know. My sister will always ensure that Abena and I had food every week during our four years of medical school. She will also do our grocery shopping and ensure that we are always okay. Mimi and Emmanuel have been calling each other in-law even before I got on board with ship. I am totally happy to have my sister and mom #2 celebrating our day with me!

This is my amazing sister Noela. I have known Noela all my life. Although Noela lives in Texas, distance is no barrier to us. We always communicate. She plays her big sister role by constantly checking on me and sending me money as needed, and I play my small sister role by always asking for money and checking on her too. Noela is one of the realest person I know. There is no faking when it comes to her. You can expect her to love you but tell you the truth as it is. I remember spending many nights for several years talking to Noela about Emmanuel. Well, it will be an honor to have my sister by my side!

This lady is a super star, a business woman, a power woman, and a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have known Angwei for more than 6+ years. We attend church services, youth meetings, and coordinate drama events together. Outside of church, Angwei is my sister, friend, and personal chef. She is someone with a heart of love. For example, she called me one day, came over to my house, cooked two big dishes and brought me fruits, all from her account. That is the kind of heart she has. She invests her time and money in the people around her. This lady is blessed and is a blessing to everyone she encounters. I am so happy to be rubbing shoulders with such a blessed woman.

Mary is my friend and roommate. We have been friends through out medical school. Mary is one with a giving heart and I am yet to find someone who out gives her. She intentionally finds ways to meet the needs of others, whether it is someone close to her or someone foreign to her; Mary always shows up and will go out of her way to meet the need. I have been a recipient of such love and kindness just because of my connect to her. It is an honor to have you on my team my dear!

AKA Queen B or Mama Brenda. I feel in love with Brenda the very day I met her. Well she is from Uganda, one of my favorite countries, which I got to visit and absolutely love! As soon as I found out where she was from, I immediately loved her, and as I got to know her, I have fallen in love with Brenda even more. Brenda is not only an amazingly smart lady but she is also extremely humble and deeply cares for others. She has the heart of putting others before herself. We have a friend group and everyone in that group always goes to Brenda for every thing that one may need because Brenda is a store house. She has everything, from shoes to cloths to food, to tylenol, to bandaid, I mean just ask Brenda and you got it! it is an honor to have this amazing lady on my team!

I call her Likabel (long story). Christabel is my little sister and the sister my darling Emmanuel. She has been there from the very beginning of our relationship. Infact Christabel will warn me several times to leave her brother alone. She is one that loves her brother and I know will want the best for him, that is why she finally accepted me! Christabel and I would walk to church together, exercise together, and hang out. Emmanuel and I are over joyed that you will part of our wedding day. We love you sis!
