Hoping by our chosen date, we can all celebrate!

We met online (dating site)... seems to be a common story these days. Our first date was in July 2019-- dinner at Chili's, which has become one of our "go-to" date night locations. (Steven loves the fajitas!) He said "I love you" first... and I FREAKED OUT! But then after a short time, I relaxed and realized that he was genuine and meant it with all of his heart! We just fit; because, think about it, we both love Disney, can sing to Disney radio for hours (we actually did this), hate onions, would go to a movie theater weekly if we were able, and have little dogs that we just absolutely adore. "Simply meant to be." We definitely have our differences too, like any couple, but the amazing part of our relationship is how well we have been able to learn from one another, grow together, and communicate with honesty and no BS. ;) We ended up moving in together Feb 28, 2020-- days before the mandatory lock-down/quarantine! Our time together through the COVID-19 pandemic, being sick, being furloughed, working through normal life, and just learning how to live together (hopefully in harmony) ended up being the best scenario we could have ever asked for. Our year together came and went, birthdays were small celebrations, and we became obsessed with new TV shows, and both started new crafting hobbies- Life is good. Christmas day was when Steven asked me, through tears, to marry him (it is my fault actually, he tears up any time he sees me cry). It was a complete surprise, and I said Yes with no hesitation but then asked "are you sure?"!!! We have been planning the wedding for a year now, and have had so much fun doing so! We both have a love to create and have just jumped in head first to make our celebration exactly what we imagine!
