Everyone who knows Miranda knows she is obsessed with putt-putt (she may or may not count down the days to "putt-putt season" every year). This is one of the best courses in the PNW, plus you can grab a few drinks while walking around in the sun!
Looking for something indoors? Rico might be even more obsessed with bowling than Miranda is with putt-putt. This is hands down their favorite bowling alley in the area, the food is pretty great too! If you really want to nerd out, these bowling lanes give you analytics for your game - no really, like you will know the MPH of the bowling ball that you throw (Miranda doesn't know why that matters).
Let's talk food (after putt-putt and bowling, no doubt you've worked up an appetite). This is Miranda and Rico's most frequented restaurant in the area, and they have the best Cuban sandwiches you will ever have. Period. Also, get them with a side of the fried plantains with mojo sauce. Ok one last thing - you can bring your dog.
Miranda and Rico would be remiss not to mention the gorgeous new Waterfront - at the end of the day Vancouver is the home they know and love! Stop by here in the afternoon, walk around and pop into one of the many wine tasting rooms or go all out for a lux dinner at Dosalas. Even better, hit the farmer's market in the AM (near Ester Short park) and walk down afterward to enjoy lunch at Wild Fin!
Another recommendation for those who may be staying in the Vancouver area, Lacamas lake is a great walking trail so you can get some fresh air! Also, it is right next to Miranda's favorite restaurant in all of Vancouver and Portland - Acorn and the Oak. This farm-to-table restaurant also doubles as a flower shop so the ambiance is 10/10!
