Are there Uber/Lyfts/Taxis in Hood River?
Answer
Please note! There are no ride share apps or taxis in Hood River. There is also no transportation provided for the day of the wedding. If you are flying into Oregon we highly recommend renting a car.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
If you are local to Hood River, we love your kiddos but if you are able to get a sitter for the night, we would love for you to have a parents night out! If you are not local, your kids are welcome to join us but please let us know before hand. Please note if you have young children the venue is situated on the side of a very high cliff and has rocky terrain and streams that run throughout the venue so please keep an extra eye on your kids! If you are from out of town and would prefer to have a babysitter for the night we have a few trusted sitters and can help coordinate that for you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We highly recommend staying at our wedding venue, The Columbia Gorge Hotel. There are two other hotels that are walking distance to our venue which we highly recommend since there is no transportation provided for the weekend. Please see the "Travel" page for all of the info on these hotel options. If you choose to stay elsewhere we recommend booking your accommodations ASAP. Hood River is a very small and popular destination in the summer and hotels tend to get completely sold out.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No there is not. There are no rideshare apps or taxis in Hood River either. Please plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! There is plenty of parking at our venue, The Columbia Gorge Hotel. 4000 Westcliff Drive Hood River, Oregon.

Is there a Sunday brunch?
Answer
There is no brunch on Sunday! If you saw one on our website that was a mistake that we didn't notice was up there until months later, oops! There are many wonderful places for breakfast nearby: Hood River: The Columbia Gorge Hotel - where we most likely will be Bette's - Classic breakfast diner River Daze - Casual vibe, fabulous breakfast sandwiches on homemade english muffins! Riverside - Located in a hotel, great river views and river walk for afterwards Golden Goods - Vegan, right in the heart of downtown Broder Øst - Scandinavian Fare White Salmon (10 min drive into Washington across the river): White Salmon Bakery - Matt & Miranda's personal favorite!
